The Lovers

The Lovers is the sixth major arcana card.  It shows a woman and a man underneath an angel.  There is a snake near them, which could show us that the man and woman are representative of Adam and Eve.  There is a tree with 12 flames on it which likely relates to the twelve zodiac signs.  The Lovers card is the card of an seemingly perfect partnership.  The angel is the angel Raphael who represents communication.  This card could mean you have found a soulmate connection with another person that is likely going to last.  On an individual level this card can mean that this is a time where being true to yourself is paramount and you should make decisions based off of your true values. The Lovers reversed can mean that you are acting on impulses and not seeking true long lasting happiness.  It can also mean that your relationships are imbalanced, or that you are experiencing inner conflicts.
